Vaselli Stone Kitchens & Bathrooms
Vaselli is one of the kitchen and bathroom ranges we offer at Intervari Design, alongside our own handmade Intervari kitchens and the Mobalco range. It is built around stone, so it suits homes where you want the surfaces themselves to be the main event rather than a background to everything else.
We work with homeowners across London and Hertfordshire, and with the architects and interior designers who specify on their behalf. Our showroom, joinery workshop and the people who make our bespoke furniture are all on one site in Watford, so you can come and see how we work before you commit to anything.
What a Vaselli kitchen or bathroom includes
Every project is put together around your rooms and the way you use them, so no two are quite the same. A typical Vaselli project with us covers:
- Design — measured drawings of your kitchen or bathroom, worked up with you until the layout and proportions are right.
- Stone and surface choices — we will show you the options available in the range and help you narrow them down to a shortlist you are happy with.
- Sinks and worktops — including how the sink, worktop and any splashbacks meet, so the details are decided on paper and not on site.
- Delivery and installation — stone is heavy and unforgiving, so it is delivered and fitted by people who handle it every week.
If your project also needs fitted joinery, bedroom furniture or bathroom furniture, we can make those in our own Watford workshop so everything lines up as one scheme.
How it works, step by step
- Consultation. We talk through the room, how you cook or wash, your plans and drawings if you have them, and roughly what you want to spend.
- Survey. We measure the space properly and check services, floor levels and access — particularly important with stone.
- Design and samples. You see drawings and physical samples of the stone and finishes, so you are choosing from the real material rather than a photograph on a screen.
- Order. Once the design and specification are signed off, the pieces are ordered and a fitting slot is booked.
- Fitting. Our fitters install the kitchen or bathroom and go through it with you at the end. If anything needs adjusting afterwards, you call us on 01923 954769 — the same people, not a call centre.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see the stone before I decide?
Yes. We would always encourage it. Stone varies from piece to piece, so seeing samples in person — and, where possible, in the light of the room they are going in — is far more reliable than judging from photographs. Come to our Watford showroom and workshop and we will go through the options with you.
How do I look after a stone kitchen or bathroom?
Care depends on which stone you choose, as some are more porous than others. We will give you the specific advice for the material in your project before you commit to it, so you know what day-to-day cleaning involves and whether any sealing is needed.
How long does it take from first meeting to finished kitchen?
It depends on the size of the project and on the stone specified, and on whether your building work is finished. We will give you an honest timeline for design, making and fitting at quotation stage, and tell you early if a particular choice adds weeks to the lead time.
Do you make the furniture yourselves?
Our bespoke joinery, kitchens and fitted furniture are made in our own workshop in Watford. Vaselli is a supplied range that we design with, specify and install. You are welcome to visit the workshop and see the difference for yourself.
Do you work with my architect or interior designer?
Yes. We are used to working from architects' drawings and to a designer's specification, and we are happy to deal with them directly through the design and fitting stages.
Why work with Intervari Design
We are an independent specialist, not a chain showroom. That means we can put forward the range that genuinely fits your project — Vaselli, Mobalco or a bespoke Intervari kitchen made in our own workshop — rather than pushing one product at everyone.
We regularly work with architects and interior designers, so we are used to reading drawings, holding a specification and keeping to a site programme when the kitchen is one part of a larger renovation or extension. And because our showroom and joinery workshop share a site at Shakespeare Industrial Estate in Watford, you can meet the people involved and see the work in progress.
How we prepare a quote
We would rather give you a realistic figure than a tempting one. After the consultation and survey, we price the project from the agreed layout and specification — the stone chosen, the sizes involved, the sinks and worktops, and the delivery and fitting your property needs.
The detail of our quoting process, including whether a design fee applies and what it covers, should be confirmed with us directly before it is published here. Please ask when you get in touch and we will explain exactly what is and is not included.
