An Intervari kitchen is drawn for your room, not chosen from a catalogue. We start with the space you have, the way you cook and the way your family uses the room, then design cabinetry to suit it.
The joinery is made in our own workshop on Shakespeare Street in Watford, a short run from north and central London, so the people designing your kitchen and the people making it work under one roof.

It depends on the size of the kitchen, the finishes and how busy the workshop is. We give you a realistic timetable for design, making and fitting once the drawings are signed off, and we'll tell you at the first meeting roughly when we could start.
Yes. A lot of our kitchens go into renovations and extensions, so we're used to coordinating with builders, architects and interior designers — agreeing service positions, floor levels and dates so the room is ready when the furniture arrives.
Because we make the cabinetry ourselves, we can work in a wide range of timbers, veneers, painted finishes and worktop materials, including stone. Come to the workshop in Watford and you can handle samples rather than judging from a screen.
Changes are easiest before sign-off, which is why we spend time on the drawings. Once making has begun, changes may affect the price and the dates, so we'll always tell you the effect before we act on them.
Ring or email us. Doors and drawers sometimes need a small adjustment after a room has settled, and we'll come back and sort it.
Because the cabinetry is made in the workshop, most of the cutting and finishing happens in Watford, not in your house. Fitting is the noisy part, and we'll tell you in advance how many days our team expects to be on site.

We work with designers and architects. Plenty of our work comes through interior designers and architects who specify for their clients, so we're used to reading drawings, holding a design intent and fitting in with a wider renovation or extension.

Every kitchen is different, so we don't quote from a price list. After the first meeting and survey we prepare a written price based on your layout, the materials and finishes you've chosen, the worktops and the amount of fitting involved.
Where a design fee applies, we'll explain before you commit what it covers, what happens to it if you go ahead with the kitchen, and what you receive for it. Ask us at the first meeting and we'll set it out in writing.
